How to run multiple operating systems without multiboot.....
For those people out there who want to run multiple operating systems on their PC but don't want to set multiboot. And there may be many reasons for that and we all know that.Believe me multiboot just sucks....
I would like to explain those people who don't know what is multiboot. So , multiboot is the way to run many operating systems one by one. That means when you start your PC you can select which operating system to boot. Now here is the problem you can boot one operating system at the time.
So here is the another way to run operating systems simultaneously. That means you can run more than two OS at the same time. There is software named Virtual-box from oracle. It allows you to create virtual machine on your computer. You have freedom to select hard disk size(which will be part of your original hard drive ) , RAM, video memory and so many things which virtual machine needs.
Make sure you have high end computer, cause if you don't (ya it will run but,)it will make your PC to run slow.So basically if you are currently running windows 7 on your PC then by this software you can run ubuntu, win xp,and any other operating system parallel to windows 7.In this case Win-7 will be the Host OS and ubuntu, win xp will be the guest OS.
And here is the interesting thing virtual box also allows you connect them with network like Local area network. It will also free you from rebooting again and again and again...It means it is same as multiboot but far better it allows you to fast switching.
You can download it from here https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
So download it and enjoy. How it looks like? Well, here is the screenshots from mine....
