How to hide folders in Win-7

        It's important to hide some files from your family or friends.It's very easy to do it in Win-7 and some other windows OS.Ya,I know every one know that right click>Properties>Select Check-box named Hidden.  But,but this method double ensures you that no one can easily find it :)

        So, let's start:

Step-1:

       First of all put all the files you want to hide.

Step-2:

       

        Now, right click on target folder > Properties > Customize > Change Icon and select transparent icon as shown below..

Step-3:

       Now so far we have folder which is having transparent icon.Now we will give this folder blank name.Yes to hide this folder completely it is necessary.

       To do so,select folder right click > Rename > alt+0160 >hit enter so it will be having no name at all.Finally it will look like as shown below.

(yes it will occupy some space and it will be always at top as shown)

    Now it's great nobody gonna find it until he/she select it.

Final step: 

Now ,make this folder hidden.            

right click on folder>Properties>Select Check-box named Hidden and hit OK.

Now hide hidden folders as we all usually do.

select folder > go to organize >Folder Option > select Do not show hidden folders.

          Now one thing you have to keep in mind that is "In which folder your target folder is make sure everything in that folder is showed as list not as thumbnail"This will help you when if some one makes hidden folder visible then he/she will not see this folder easily.

Final note: 

           Put this folder at some unusual place like contact as shown below.

    Why? cause usually people don't go to contacts to find some interesting files.So, enjoy your privacy...
