How to point your domain name to your blogger Blog?


          Many people direct/point their domain name to their blogger Blog.It's nothing wrong with it ,I mean I am also using blogger as host for my this website.There are lots of benefits with it naming few,
  • If are new to Web Developing and you don't know or know little bit about Web Developing languages like,HTML,PHP,CSS,JAVA etc. then Blogger makes it easy for you to develop your website.
  • If you don't want to spend more money on hosting Blogger is free way to Host your website.
  • You just need to  write posts on blogger and bang !! it will be on Internet instantly.You don't need to link your post,no need to write any peace of code for your posts.  
          Before going to main point I should disadvantages of hosting with blogger like, you can't put your custom codes you have created for your website I mean you can but within limits of blogger.But its okay if it suits you and your website.

Pointing your domain to blogger:


Step 1:          
           Okay so let's start, first you will need a Domain name with DNS which you want to point to your blogger Blog.If you have it no problem, but if you don't have Go and register one with DNS for your website.

Step 2:

             Login with your domain name registrar account and go to domain settings DNS setting > Edit zone file.Add new record With  

                                   Host :           www
                                   Pionts to :    ghs.google.com
             Don't change TTL if you don't know anything about it.

Step 3:

            Now login with Blogger go to setting > Publishing > click on button which says "Add custom Domain". 
            Input your domain information and click SAVE button. That's it.It may take some time wait and it will be done.



Note:    Above steps are for Domain name registered with Godaddy It might change for other domain name registrar.If it is so then you will get help here, Blogger > login > Goto setting > Publishing > add custom Domain  > setting instruction.
